A broad Discord bot, built from a very simple frustration.

Too many server systems can mean too many bots. Modulr is NDev Studios' attempt to make one installation cover much more of a server's day-to-day requirements.

02
THE STARTING POINT

Having everything in one place can make the biggest difference.

Modulr began from seeing Discord servers depend on large collections of bots to run moderation, tickets, logging, onboarding, levels, notifications and other features. Each bot can be good at what it does, but the combined setup can become difficult to remember and maintain.

The goal became straightforward: build a multi-purpose bot with enough properly developed modules that a server can choose to reduce that dependency on separate products.

Modulr is entirely owned and developed by NDev Studios.

It is being developed as one of NDev Studios' primary portfolio projects rather than as an unrelated side bot. NDev Studios owns the product, development direction, infrastructure and operation of Modulr.

The longer-term goal is to grow Modulr into as many suitable Discord servers as possible and continue expanding the systems it can handle without turning the product into an unstructured collection of commands.

Useful before flashy

Features should solve a real server requirement rather than exist only to make the feature count larger.

Simple configuration

The product can be large while the setup still starts in one place: /config.

Transparent status

Outages, third-party problems and maintenance should be clearly communicated instead of hidden.

Room to improve

No Discord bot is the permanent answer for every server. Modulr should keep changing when better ideas and new requirements appear.

Modulr is now a verified Discord application and listed in App Discovery.

Verification does not mean development is finished, but it gives Modulr an official presence inside Discord while NDev Studios continues preparing the full Beta release and its remaining systems.

AI is used as a guide, not as a substitute for owning the work.

NDev Studios uses modern AI-assisted tools across its development workflow to help speed up research, troubleshooting and work in areas that need additional guidance. Modulr has benefited from that same approach.

Architecture, product decisions, implementation, testing, deployment and responsibility for the result remain with NDev Studios. The aim is to use modern tools to improve the workflow without handing the project over to them.
