01Documentation

Assume nothing. Explain the whole setup.

Modulr documentation is being written for people who may never have configured a serious Discord bot before. Basic steps come first; deeper options are there when somebody needs them.

  1. Invite Modulr

    The public invite link will be added for Beta. The guide will explain what permissions Modulr requests and why.

  2. Run /config

    Only administrators can open the main configuration interface by default. This is the starting point for every released module.

  3. Choose a module

    Open the module you want, complete its required setup and save the configuration directly inside Discord.

  4. Preview and test

    Where a module sends public messages or uses external providers, use previews and test actions before depending on it.

  5. Check Configuration Health

    Supported modules can identify deleted resources, missing permissions and other setup problems without forcing an administrator to diagnose everything manually.

Configuration

/config — Open the private Modulr configuration system.

Moderation

/moderate — Open the central moderation panel for a member.

/case — View a moderation case.

/history — View a member’s moderation history.

/purge — Remove a selected number of messages.

/lock / /unlock — Control channel sending permissions.

/slowmode — Configure channel slowmode.

/unban — Remove a ban.

/raid — View or control raid mode.

/rank — View a member’s level and XP.

/leaderboard — View the server activity leaderboard.

/xp — Staff XP management and member XP information.
