Start simple. Go deeper when you need to.

Modulr documentation is written for administrators who may have never configured a large Discord bot before. The first steps are explicit, and the more advanced detail sits underneath them instead of replacing them.

  1. Add Modulr to the server

    Use the official Discord app flow and review the permissions requested for the features you intend to use.

  2. Run /config

    Administrators open the main private configuration interface from inside Discord.

  3. Choose the module

    Open the system you want and complete the required setup rather than enabling every feature at once.

  4. Preview and test

    Use previews and test actions before depending on public messages or external providers.

  5. Check Configuration Health

    Where supported, Modulr can identify deleted resources, missing permissions and invalid setup references.

Configuration

/config — Open the private Modulr configuration system.

Moderation

/moderate — Open the central moderation panel for a member.

/case — View a moderation case.

/history — View a member’s moderation history.

/purge — Remove a selected number of messages.

/lock / /unlock — Control channel sending permissions.

/slowmode — Configure channel slowmode.

/unban — Remove a ban.

/raid — View or control raid mode.

Levels & Activity

/rank — View a member’s level and XP.

/leaderboard — View the server activity leaderboard.

/xp — Staff XP management and member XP information.

This reference covers current Modulr commands and will expand with additional usage examples and context where useful.

Permissions

Check what Modulr needs and remember that Discord role and channel overrides can block an otherwise valid permission.

Deleted roles or channels

Configuration Health can identify references that no longer exist so they can be replaced cleanly.

Social providers

Review connection state, run the provider test and check Status before assuming an external API problem is a Modulr fault.

Premium

Check your Modulr Account for plan status, code delivery, server assignment and billing information.
